"Our Indian restaurant has been in Sendling, between Harras and Westpark, since 1993. We are known for original North Indian cuisine, always freshly made, and generous portions Our recipe for success is repeatedly appreciated by our many regulars and Indian guests always careful that every guest is satisfied BUT CAUTION - Unfortunately, there are some misallocated ratings Please, do not confuse our restaurant with a restaurant of the same name located seven kilometers away from us The other restaurant has nothing to do with us to do."
Always great, service very good and food perfect
Taste differs, pakora can be dry and meat chewy
The pick-up portion was huge, it was delicious and the owner was also very nice. So there is nothing wrong with it :)
Butter naan and paneer butter masala were delicious. Favorable pick-up prices and good portions. Waiting time of 30 minutes is okay too.
Completely happy. 11/18/2020 - Great food, I was full - The food was well seasoned as it may. - Sharpness was just right - Supplier was personable, nice and punctual. - There is nothing wrong with it, it must be dinner. Always my pleasure
Super delicious food, delivered quickly and hot! Very nice owner! Gladly again, thank you very much
very late delivery
So far I have only ordered online here. The butter chicken was very tasty several times, ordered the mango chicken for the first time today, also very tasty. The prices are absolutely okay for Munich! The delivery times are normal. Special requests are dealt with and the telephone contact was extremely friendly :-)
I ordered through Lieferando. Food arrived hot and in the specified time. Taste was very good. Nahn bread could use a little more garlic.
We often order food here by Lieferando. It usually comes very quickly and tastes delicious. The price is okay. The restaurant is nice too. Here the service was very taciturn and not really professional. Hence a star deduction. Otherwise we are very satisfied with everything.
Very friendly staff and the food is excellent! We would say the best in the Sendling district! Highly recommended!
Unfortunately, very disappointing. The food was unseasoned and absolutely tasteless. We could not confirm the many positive reviews.
Very coay seating area with parking. Great food ?
Food and service are great. Prices too. A few tiny criticisms: plastic tablecloths don't work. A few cushions need to be renewed and I would have liked a little more Indian flair in the form of decoration and music, but that's just my personal taste. The food really speaks for itself. A little tip from me One should not criticize the staff in front of customers and older people should be treated with respect, whether they are family or not.
Quantity and quality appropriate to the price asked (lunch menu starter + main course + drink 7 € 80). Impression: cool and in need of a bit of renovation. Probably not for a festive night out. During the lunch break, many employees from the area come to visit for a quick meal.
Delicious foods..
Food is tasty, particularly samosa and hariyali chicken tikka. Friendly staff
Just around the corner from me! Great to eat and the owner is very nice.
I have never been to a restaurant before, but have often ordered there. The food was always fantastic no matter what I ordered and the portions so large that I could eat twice. ??
I think I order the butter chicken for takeaway at least once every two weeks or so. It’s so good that you get cravings for it ;)
Excellent food! Love Indian food and have tried many restaurants in Munich - there were by far the best vegetable pakoras. Main course also very tasty. The interior is unfortunately not so inviting, but for a good Indian meal you can accept that, of course you can always pick it up.
Ordered for pickup today. Punctual, friendly, tasty and huge portion (half in the photo). Also great at home in Corona times ?
Used to order from this resturant for some time. I’m not sure if they changed chefs or something else, but my last 2 orders were undercooked (I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala) the first time I thought they were just in a hurry. The second time I was sure this is not right. Also other friends that eat there complained about the same thing.
Pretty expensive for a tourist. But the biriyani was really good
Surprised to see the ratings are so high for this place. We ordered tandoori which wasn't cooked well and had a food color applied to it.didnr really taste like Indian tandoori.i ended up recooking the dish to make it palatable.
It was not the first time we were here and for a good reason although we have 35 km to get there: - The nice boss serves personally - The ambience is down to earth, very neat and clean - The food is freshly prepared and very tasty. Every guest is welcome here and we love that. See you soon Mehfil team
I usally never write feedback about Restaurants but this time i really need to do it. I felt really cheated about the rating. It was the worst indish food we´ve ever had. - We orderd Pakora and it was way to salty, only with Zucchini (usally pakora is with different vegetables) and - the Sauce from my my"chicken masala" tasted like a german food which i know very well (Rahmschwammerlsauce) Even my friend tasted it and said the same -.-. - You can littery tell that they offer not only indish food, also german food and that its actually a hotel restaurant. - We thought our nan would be great but even the nan was not fully backed. We ate dough. Im so sorry for my review because the waiter was so friendly. We did´nt need to pay the pakora but it was still 40€ at the end...
Hidden in the second row of houses you can find a really great quality on the plate in the Mehfil. The waitress supports you with explanations and background information about the dishes. Charming, pleasant and unobtrusive. We are annoyed that this Indian restaurant is not with us in Hamburg.
Service very good Food was fantastic Highlight is mango lassi Overall a great expierence
Best mango lassi and service really good Food was amazing
Nice food
We ordered Chicken Biriyani, Chicken Tikka masala and Tandoori roti through leiferando app. All the dishes were good. Chicken could have been fresh though.
Food was delicious. We had panner butter masala, chana masala with tandoori rotis. It was awesome.
WORST FOOD AND CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER EXPERIENCED IN MUNICH.The owner of this restaurant started abusing on phone when i called him to complaint about his undercooked naan. He even came up with threats for complaining against his food.If you want to fall sick and feel disrespected, go ahead and eat their stinky and stale food cooked improper unhealthy ingredients.
Food was great.
Best biryani in town... ? Yummy ?
It was awesome indian food....
We were hosting a friend and were here for a dinner. As none of us were hungry we ended up ordering more than we could eat. Long story short, we packed most of what was ordered. We were surprised to see that they packed a lamb curry with a chicken curry. Who does that? If that was not all, they packed a chicken starter with a Paneer sabji into one box. From an Indian restaurant I would expect them to be a bit more careful. It only seems that they were doing so to save a few boxes. Advice: Please take care when you get things packed. A very friendly atmosphere and the elderly person made us feel at home. Thumbs up to him.
We had reshmi chicken tikka, dal makhani and masala chai. Good sized portions. Reshmi chicken came with naan and salad and dal makhani with rice, so we didn’t need to order any sides. Good food and nice ambience. Complimentary shots were good. Owner is a nice jovial man.
Amazing food and hospitality...felt like eating indian food in India??? must visit once again?
The Food here is SOOO good! By far the best Indian food I have tried in Munich. But you stopped taking Deliveroo orders! Nooooo - please, please, please bring it back ? I need my Chicken Jalfrezi! I can't find anywhere else that does it as good.
Very good ?
Staff service is nice, prices are justified, but it took too long to get the order and also I was expecting better taste... anyway will try something different next time
Excellent food and great beer selection. The staff was fantastic. We tried a variety of lamb, chicken and vegetarian dishes, all of which were delicious. We also enjoyed spending time in the restaurant at the end of the day for a nightcap and conversation with the owners. Very nice people serving great food and drink.
Excellent Indian food and generous portions. I have been their customer for 2 years now. My recommendations are chicken tikka masala, chicken sabji, and biryani!
Really good takeaway Indian food!
This place is a gem! The owner was so accommodating and spoke pretty good English. He helped us pick the best food and it didn’t disappoint! We walked there from the Holiday Inn down the street and enjoyed the cozy atmosphere after the craziness of Oktoberfest. Highly recommend the Tikka Chicken and Samosas. Get the cucumber yogurt dip for just about everything.
Good place to have Indian food
This is the only Indian restaurant I go to because the food here really reminds me of Delhi. The chicken tikka curry is highly recommended. The restaurant is bright and at a quite place which I like this most. Also the owner is super friendly. Must visit for delicious Indian food ???
One of the best Indian restaurants in munich the atmosphere is beautiful and it really feels like home .the best places to go for authentic Indian food! I love the flavours .the staff is really friendly and helpful and their attitude is more than welcoming it makes you feel like your home and amongst family. I have been a customer for years and whenever I'm in Munich I have to visit this place.
